Two additional COVID-19 related fatalities were added to the state dashboard over the weekend. This brings the total to 20 fatalities.

Hopkins County Emergency Management announced three new cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County on Friday.

There are now 412 total reported cases in Hopkins County and 323 patients are listed as recovered, according to the county. 
Seven patients were currently hospitalized in the COVID-19 unit at CHRISTUS Mother Frances-Sulphur Springs as of Friday.
There were 101 positive antigen tests from testing facilities within Hopkins County Oct. 3-9, 202.

*These reflect Hopkins County residents only, will be reported weekly, will not count towards state numbers and will not be shown as “recovered.”

As of 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020, a total of 802 COVID tests have been performed at the testing center located at 128-A Jefferson Street.
