7 New Cases and 17 Recoveries in Hopkins County Reported on October 5th, 2020

Hopkins County Emergency Management announced 7 new cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County on Monday along with 17 recoveries.

There are now 388 total reported cases in Hopkins County and 314 patients are listed as recovered, according to the county. 
Nine patients are currently hospitalized in the COVID-19 unit at CHRISTUS Mother Frances-Sulphur Springs.
The state dashboard is showing a total of thirteen fatalities.

As of 5pm Saturday, October 3, 2020, a total of 398 COVID tests have been performed at the testing center located at 128-A Jefferson Street.
