Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Como Man for Theft of Firearm

Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Como man on Monday afternoon after finding a stolen firearm during a traffic stop.

HCSO pulled over Wesley Lane Cedillo for a traffic violation on FM 1567.  Cedillo allegedly admitted to having narcotics in his possession.

The officer located three viles of THC oil, prescription pills, and a loaded Ruger .380 in the vehicle. A records check showed the gun reported as stolen.

Cedillo was charged with Theft of Firearm and transported to Hopkins County Jail.
