Como-Pickton ISD Cancels Football Games and Practices for Two Weeks Due to Players with COVID-19

Como-Pickton ISD has cancelled JV and Varsity football games and practices for two weeks due to positive COVID-19 results from football players.

CPISD said in the statement, “Our positive student numbers have remained about the same since our last report. Some cases have been removed as false positives and some students have returned from previous quarantine while some have been added. Many of those confirmed positives have been from our high school football players.”

The decision to cancel football games and practices came at the direction of the Local Health Authority.  All other aspects of school will continue as scheduled.
