Como-Pickton ISD Superintendent Greg Bower announced today that three more Como-Pickton High School students have tested positive for COVID-19.

One of the students was already in quarantine, according to to the statement. The ISD has contacted parents of students that may have been in close contact with the student. CPISD has sent them home for self-quarantine.

Bower says, “As we are attempting to provide school in the midst of a pandemic, I think that most of you understand that this will not be the last notice that you receive from us. We will, however, provide notification each time we have a positive case even if that means several notices a week. We want to be as transparent as possible with our community. If at any time we feel it necessary to close school as a result of the number of cases that we may have out during a specific period, we will let our community know as soon as possible and transition to our online learning platforms for a couple of weeks before trying to transition back.”

You can find the full statement in the Facebook post from the district below.
