Mike Lee Malone was pulled over by an HCSO deputy for speeding on I-30 West near the 122 mile marker.

The deputy requested to search the vehicle and Malone denied the request. A K-9 unit was deployed to perform an olfactory sniff of the vehicle. The K-9 gave a positive alert that narcotics were present inside the vehicle.

A short search discovered 94 Hydrocodone pills in a clear sealed bag. Malone allegedly admitted to ownership of the pills and was placed under arrest.

He is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 28g>200g and is currently held at Hopkins County Jail.
