Memorial services for Harris “Neal” Norton, age 76, of Yantis, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Seymore Bible Fellowship Church with Pastor Jeremy Durig officiating. Neal passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Plano.
He was born on July 22, 1943 in Quitman, the son of Eudell Norton and Eva Williams Norton. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Seymore Bible Fellowship. He married Sonja Hinton Baker on November 17, 1997. Neal was a professional driver and drove for UPS for 12 years and later drove for Rodney Miller. Neal loved the Lord and was a loving husband and father.
He is survived by wife, Sonja Norton of Yantis, sons, Brent Baker of Houston, Robin Baker of San Antonio, daughters, Pam Kiser of Sulphur Springs, Kim Cantua of Brawley, CA, Lori Fields of Bowie, Kay Glenn of Yantis, Dawnne Malone of San Antonio, brother, Jim Lassley, sisters, Donna Riley, Karen Lowder, Paula Webb, Misty Martin, Shelley Lassley, Rona Lassley, Tammy Spinelli, 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Norton. Memorials to Seymore Bible Fellowship or charity of your choice.
