26 Cases of COVID-19 Reported at Greenville Assisted Living Facility

26 positive test results for COVID-19 have been reported at an assisted living facility in Hunt County, according to Hunt County Judge Bobby Stovall.

The state reported to the Hunt County Health Department today that the Colonial Lodge in Greenville is the site of 25 new cases. One other positive case was previously reported at the facility.

Based on reports, there appear to be 19 current cases among residents and 7 cases among the staff.

The breakdown of the affected residents ages is:

Aged 90-99: 5

Aged 80-89: 8

Aged 70-79: 6
The County Health Department will continue to work closely with the state and local medical providers to address the needs of the Colonial Lodge residents and to stem the spread of COVID-19 to the extent possible, according to the announcement.
