The patient is self-isolating at home and receiving treatment.

The Local Health Authority will begin to obtain as much information as possible to protect our community, according to HCEM.

There are 34 active cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County. Eight of the 42 confirmed cases are listed as recovered.

One of the previously reported cases was double-counted and that’s why the overall total only went from 40 to 41 with this announcement.
