UPDATED: TEN New Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 Reported on Monday, June 8th.

There are ten new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County, according to an announcements from Hopkins County Judge Robert Newsom on Monday, June 8th.

The patients are self-isolating at home and receiving treatment. 

The Local Health Authority will begin to obtain as much information as possible to protect our community, according to HCEM. 

Newsom said, “We’re doing very well compared to our neighbors.” Titus County’s case total is now being reported to have reached 629.
Newsom added, “We need to pray for our neighbors just as much as we pray for ourselves.”

There are 32 active cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County. Eight of the 40 confirmed cases are listed as recovered.
