There are two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County, according to an announcement from Hopkins County Judge Robert Newsom at 2:30 pm on on Friday, June 5th.
The patients are self-isolating at home and receiving treatment.
The Local Health Authority will begin to obtain as much information as possible to protect our community, according to HCEM.
There are 29 active cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County. Seven of the confirmed cases are listed as recovered.
None of the cases are at local nursing homes.
