Judge Robert Newsom announced 4 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Hopkins County at 4 pm.
There are 15 active cases and 6 recovered cases in Hopkins County.
The patients are self-isolating at home and receiving treatment. No other information is known at this time. The Local Health Authority will begin to obtain as much information as possible to protect our community, according to HCEM.
Testing of area nursing homes has been completed ahead of schedule, according to Hopkins County Emergency Management Coordinator Andy Endsley. Members of Sulphur Springs Fire Department assisted the state in administering the testing.
