Two New Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County Reported

Hopkins County has two new confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to Hopkins County Judge Robert Newsom at approximately 6:10 pm.

The patients are self-isolating at home and receiving treatment. No other information is known at this time. The Local Health Authority will begin to obtain as much information as possible to protect our community, according to HCEM. 

There are 9 active cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County. One new recovery was reported today. Six of the previous cases are listed as recovered.

Testing of local nursing homes is on pace to be finished on Monday, according to Newsom.
