Bright Star Cinemas in Sulphur Springs has reopened after being closed by the governor’s COVID-19 shutdown orders.
The theater had just reopened in November of last year after completing a 4.5 million dollar renovation.
Bright Star Cinemas says on their website that each auditorium is limited to 50% capacity. They ask that customers leave a two-seat gap between their seat and any unavailable seat to allow for social distancing.
Movie studios have pushed back most new releases due to the coronavirus crisis. Bright Star is showing classics such as The Goonies and The Wizard of Oz along with some newer movies to make up for the lack of new releases.
