And behold, I have appointed with him [Bezalel] Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. And I have given to all able men ability, that they may make all that I have commanded you.
When the Lord speaks to you to do something for Him, as you obey, He will empower you by His Spirit and He will bring others alongside you with similar talents and interests. Notice that God didn’t expect Bezalel, as gifted as he was in the work he was about to do, to try to build the Tabernacle all by himself. The Lord put the same mandate on the lives of Oholiab and several other men to come alongside Bezalel in order to accomplish such a large and important work. One the worst things that Bezalel could have done would have been to get upset and jealous over the other men coming alongside him. He could have become insecure thinking that someone else was trying to steal his thunder when in actuality, God was giving him the opportunity to lead and mentor others. The mandate that the Lord places on your life will be impossible for you to accomplish alone. It will take His anointing and grace, which He will show you many times through bringing others alongside you. Some will teach you, others will learn from you. Both will be an opportunity for you to see the calling upon your life come to pass. In order for the Church to truly become who God has intended her to be, Christians must begin allowing others to be involved in their lives and callings.- Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
