Genesis 40:8
They said to him, “We have had dreams, and there is no one to interpret them.” And Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Please tell them to me.”

No one is exempt from testing and trials. However, the reason most people experience frustration is that they are seeking a translation of what’s happening rather than God’s interpretation of it. Think about it, how many people do you know who take their problems to their friends and family looking for someone to put a justifying spin on them as opposed to truly seeking understanding. Pride and insecurity have kept countless people from receiving their breakthrough and healing. If they truly understood the cause of their issue they could fix it. But because they don’t want to be introspective and prefer to pin blame on someone other than themselves, they look for a different point of view rather than seeking the proper perspective. It would be the equivalent of retelling the same story in a different language. The problem is the same, it’s only been translated so it sounds like something different. Interpretation, on the other hand, is seeking meaning and searching for understanding. When you come to the place where you really want things to change, you’ll seek the Holy Spirit’s interpretation of what’s happening rather than trying to justify why you’re dealing with it, even if it means having to accept responsibility for it. What are you facing in your life right now that you need the Lord’s understanding of? If you’ll seek His perspective and allow Him to speak to you about it, He will interpret those things that you don’t understand. You will find that He can use what you’re experiencing to bring you to the very place He’s destined for you all along. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
