Sulphur Springs Man Arrested On Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact Charge by Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office

Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 35 year old Sulphur Springs man on Wednesday evening on a warrant for Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact.

The offense allegedly occurred on April 17th, according to the arrest report.

Deputies arrived at Jackson Street apartment complex in an attempt to serve the warrant and were made aware of which specific apartment 35 year old Joseph Dean Winship was in.

Deputies entered the apartment and located Winship inside of a closet. 

Winship was taken into custody and transported to Hopkins County Jail. Bond has not been set as of the time of this report.
