For the safety and health of the community and our ministry, CHRISTUS Health is screening all visitors to our hospitals to help lessen the risk of infectious disease transmission among our patients, associates, and guests.  We appreciate your understanding as we ask questions to those visiting our campuses about their travel and health as it relates to screening for the COVID-19 symptoms.  Visitors must be 18 years old, and visiting hours will be 7:00am to 7:00pm*.  In addition, we will be limiting our hours of entry to the main lobby from 6:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.  The Emergency Room entrance will remain opened 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.  *May be subject to change.

Recognition

National Social Work Month

Every March, National Social Work Month recognizes the dedication and empathy social workers across the country deliver while providing services to children and adults in need. Social workers are advocates, advisors, counselors, and facilitators in schools, clinics, businesses, and government offices.

National Social Work Month was first organized in March of 1963 by National Association of Social Workers as a way to encourage public support for the profession.

In their roles, they provide support to people of all backgrounds, in our communities and to employers. Their services are provided in crisis situations or when life creates roadblocks and uncertainty. Social workers provide a voice for equal rights for the weakest of us and connect us to resources when we are in need.

Thank you to our Social Workers!
