Hopkins County Jail has suspended all inmate visitation until further notice at the direction of the Texas Commission on Jail Standards. This is in relation to the prevention and mitigation protocols regarding COVID-19.

Hopkins County Jail does NOT have any confirmed cases of COVID-19. This is merely in response to prevention planning. This suspension is in effect until terminated by the Office of the Governor or until the disaster declaration is lifted or expires.

Video visitation will be available according to Sheriff Lewis Tatum.
