Isaiah 55:9
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you truly felt like it would take a miracle to get you out? If you’re like most people you can identify with that scenario pretty easily. Times when life’s circumstances seemed to snowball and start rolling downhill with no end in sight, other than the miracle your seeking. Maybe you’re experiencing life that way right now. As necessary as a miracle seems in those moments, most situations won’t be resolved in the next second, it will be resolved through a system. More often than not, God will solve your situation through a system rather than He will a miracle. Miracles, while fascinating and convenient only provide relief in the moment, while a process or system will grow and develop you as you’re faithful to walk it out. If God only solved your situation through miracles you would keep giving birth to baby situations rather than growing in wisdom. When He solves it through a system, He is saving you from the pain of going through the problem over and over again. You would become a slave or addict to miracles rather than growing in relationship to the Father as He guides you into a better way of life. His plan for you is to grow and mature to place where you aren’t constantly needing to be delivered from the consequences of poor decision making. He desires for you to be the one through whom He can perform miracles rather than remaining in a place of dependence on them. Are you in the position of needing a miracle because it feels like your only way out? Be careful to keep faith in Him, not the miracle. He is perfect in wisdom and love. Should a miracle be in order He is surely willing and able to perform it. But, should He choose to use another form of deliverance, remember that lifestyle change occurs in the system, not in the miracles. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
