Susan Vaughn recently delivered the proceeds from the Sulphur Springs Senior Citizens Center’s pecan fundraiser. The $1,505 raised by the fundraiser brought the Senior Citizens Center Building Fund to 100,000.71! And additional donations have pushed the total even higher!

Sulphur Springs Senior Citizens Center Director Karon Weatherman says that the money will now help furnish the new Senior Citizens Center since voters approved the bond to construct a new facility.

The City of Sulphur Springs is currently getting bids for the Asbestos Abatement on the property on Oak Avenue that will be torn down in order to build the new Senior Citizens Center on the lot.
