SSHS Choir Excels at Regional UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest

SSHS Choir earned 39 1st division ratings on solos and advanced 5 ensembles to Texas State Solo & Ensemble at the Regional UIL Solo & Ensemble contest on Friday, January 31. Out of the 39 soloists earning medals, 33 advanced to TSSEC which will be held in May at UT in Austin.

Many students are returning state qualifiers. Seniors Hope Williams, Meredith Hooten, and Lisseth Carmona are 4 year state qualifiers for Solo & Ensemble.
