2020:International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife

“In 2020 we celebrate the world’s 22 million nurse and 2 million midwives who make up half of the global health workforce – providing vital health care everywhere, as they have been doing for centuries.  Together they are the cornerstone of the strong, resilient health systems needed to achieve universal health coverage.” -World Health Organization

Did you know we have our very own Certified Nurse Midwife, Deb Logan, MSN, right here in Sulphur Springs?  Deb Logan, in addition to Dr. Darryl Doughtie and Dr. Martin Fielder, can take care of all Women’s Health needs.  To reach their office, please call 903.439.4917.

Out of caution for our patients,

CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital Sulphur Springs is preparing for any active cases of coronavirus that may come through our clinics/hospital.  All of our infection prevention practices will be effective for not only the Novel Coronavirus, but also for our influenza transmission prevention.  Influenza remains the highest risk to our patients and communities at this time.
