Funeral service for Camilla Jane Boatright, age 81, of Sulphur Springs will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at League St. Church of Christ with Jim Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Scott Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Brian Kile, Cody Kile, and Ben Elliott serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church. Mrs. Boatright passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at her residence.

 

Camilla Jane Boatright was born July 11, 1938 in Grand Rapids, MI to Robert Robinson and Marguerite Beth (Walker) Robinson. She married Marion Ray Boatright on January 14, 1959 in Whittier, CA; he survives. Mrs. Boatright was a homemaker and a member of League St. Church of Christ. She was passionate about her mission work in Ensenada, Mexico and Ghana, West Africa.

 

Other survivors include son, David Boatright of Sulphur Springs; daughters, Cindy Johnson and husband, Scott, of Bossier City, LA, Becky Kile and husband, Brian, of Georgetown, TX; grandchildren, Matthew Johnson and wife, Kay, of Katy, TX, Andrew Johnson of Houston, TX, Courtney Elliott and husband, Ben, of Wheelock, TX, Cody Kile of College Station, TX, and Katie Johnson of Ruston, LA; great-grandchildren, Brayden Dennis, Riley Johnson, Noah Johnson, Cullen Elliott, and Carsyn Elliott; brothers, Jim Robinson and wife, Kathy, of California, and John Robinson and wife, Judy, of New Hampshire.

Mrs. Boatright was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bob Robinson.

Memorials may be made to Sonrise Christian High School – Ghana, West Africa, in care of League St. Church of Christ, 1100 S. League St., Sulphur Springs, TX 75482.

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
