Ephesians 1:6
…and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

It doesn’t take much life experience to realize that it’s not a matter of if adverse and difficult times come but a matter of when they come. No one, not even Jesus was exempt from experiencing trials and circumstances that would be considered less than favorable. When these moments come it matters from where you see the moment. If you look at your life from the circumstances of your life, you’ll stay critical about where your current situation. But, if you look at your life from God’s vantage point, you’ll see the advantage. Thus, it goes without saying that in order to take advantage you have to come up to a higher viewpoint. The key to success in any battle is to have the higher ground or be in a position that gives you a better vantage point than your adversary. According to today’s scripture text, the Lord Jesus has given you a position that’s higher than anything that you will ever go through. Your challenge is not to necessarily win the battle, but to see it from God’s point of view. Whatever you’re facing becomes much less intimidating when your have the positional advantage over it. You get to see the fullness of your situation or circumstance from all sides instead of trying to see your way out it from within it. Having the advantage point of view will enable you to navigate quickly and successfully through the difficulty without the anxiety and stress that comes from trying to do it on your own. If you’re in a trying time that seems to have no end in sight, ask the Holy Spirit to help to you see from your position of authority in Him. Your vantage point of the moment will determine your victory in the moment.- Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
