Hebrews 10:36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. 37 For, “Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay; 38 but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”

As you’ve probably noticed on your journey through life, most of what is referred to as ‘life’ occurs not at the beginning or end but in the middle. The excitement of the start and the finish simply bookend a whole lot of up and down moments. If your breathing right now, you’re somewhere in the middle. It’s in the middle where the chaos happens. It’s in the middle where the adversity happens. It’s in the middle where the testing happens. Most of your life isn’t starting something or finishing something. Most of life is figuring out how to deal with the chaos in the middle. So question becomes, when you are in the middle, will you trust him with the outcome even though you are still in the process? This is truly what faith is all about, your ability to trust Him to get you to the promise that awaits you. Many people make the mistake of thinking that faith will occur or take place at the finish when they get to take their victory lap. In actuality, at that point faith will no longer be needed because you’ll experiencing the manifestation of the promise that you’ve been believing for all along. No matter what stage of life you’re in, if you’re still living, your journey is not complete. Keep trusting. Keep walking. Keep enduring. Use the faith of God that He has imparted to you to overcome each and every trial or circumstance that will come your way. Don’t let the temptation to give up or quit keep from seeing your faith become sight. Your victory is at hand! – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
