Two SSHS Students Named Winners of North East Texas Writers Organization Short Story Contest

Two Sulphur Springs High School juniors have been named winners in a short story contest sponsored by the North East Texas Writers Organization.

Paige Daniel received second place for her story entitled “Stranger.” She will receive a cash prize of $50.
Zoe Westlund received third place for her story entitled “Desensitized.” She will receive a cash prize of $35.
These students will be recognized at a reception at Main Street Gallery in Mt. Vernon on December 12
