Four Members of Sulphur Springs City Council Resign Positions Effective Immediately

FrontPorchNewsTexas.com has confirmed with multiple sources that four Sulphur Springs City Council members have resigned their positions. Those that submitted their resignations are Mayor Norman Sanders, Jimmy Lucas, Erica Armstrong, and Jeff Sanderson.

Sanders resigned on Thursday and the others submitted their resignations earlier today.
City Manager Marc Maxwell told us that the City Attorney is consulting with the Texas Municipal League to determine next steps in filling the now vacant seats.
