Cumby Trojan Football Advances to Area Round with 50-28 Victory Over James Bowie

The Cumby Trojans football team advanced to the Area round of the playoffs with a 50-28 victory over James Bowie on Friday night in the Class 2A bi-district round. The Trojans will face number 7 ranked Grapeland on Friday in Bullard at 7:30 pm.
Cameron Scott led the Trojans with over 330 total yards and four touchdowns. Jacob DeMidio rushed for over 130 yards and three touchdowns.
