11 Sulphur Springs High School Choir Students Advance to Pre-Area Competition

Sulphur Springs High School choir competed in All Region contest on Saturday, October 5, at Texas High School and advanced 11 students to Pre-Area in December.

Students learned five very challenging pieces of music chosen by TMEA for this contest. Their audition consisted of singing prepared music and sight singing. All students spent endless hours practicing and perfecting their music.

Bailey Early, Aidyn Rogers, Freddy Botello, Jakobe Yarbrough, Alex Walker, Layla McCarley, Meredith Hooten, Hope Williams, Danielle Verlander, Rose Marie Oyad, and Haylee Fletcher will display their hard work and talent at an All Region concert in Mount Pleasant on November 9 at 5 PM. The concert is free and open to the public.
