Help-A-Child ‘s 12th Annual Tractor Pull with a Chili and Brisket Cook-off will be on Saturday, October 20th. The event is at the Hopkins County Civic Center and begins at 9am. The Lone Star Garden Tractor Pullers will begin at 9
a.m. There is no admission fee, but donations will be accepted for the charities. They will begin serving all you can eat chili and brisket at 11:30 a.m. with Dutch Oven cobbler for $10. The winners of the Ira Black Ag Mechanics Show and Cook-Off winners will be announced at noon and there will be an auction of the Ag Mechanics projects at 12:30. The Lake Country Antique Tractor Pull begins at 1 pm.
The Help-A- Child benefit is conducted by the Sulphur Bluff Masonic Lodge #246, the Sulphur Springs Masonic Lodge #221, the Hopkins Masonic Lodge #180, and the Delta Masonic Lodge #1240. Proceeds benefit Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and The Northeast Texas Child Advocacy Center.
