Sulphur Springs PD Arrests Three Men After They Allegedly Steal Cell Phones at Gun Point from Lee Street Residence

The Sulphur Springs Police Department arrested three men after the men allegedly broke into a home on Lee Street and stole the residents’ cell phones at gunpoint.

Officers were dispatched to the Lee Street residence in reference to a disturbance. The victims advised officers that three black males and one white male had kicked their door in and pointed guns at them. The victim claimed that they suspects grabbed the victim’s handgun and hit the victim in the head with it causing the gun to go off, shooting the wall. The victim told officers the suspects then grabbed two cell phones and other property from the residence and ran away.

The victim’s mother was able to track one of the phones to the 1200 block of Main Street. Officers located Zadarion Christopher Swain(19, Paris), Zavier Ahamad Rollerson(17, Paris), and Dequenek Timothy Shephard(20, Brashear) walking along the road. An officer called the victim’s phone and it was found in Swain’s pocket.

The three males were taken into custody and booked into Hopkins County Jail. They are each charged with Burglary with Intent to Commit Felony and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.

The 4th suspect has not been located at this time.
