Mark 2:3-4
3 And they came, bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men. 4 And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him, and when they had made an opening, they let down the bed on which the paralytic lay.

How you view the obstacles that try to get in the way of you obtaining what God has promised will determine whether or not you see that promise come to pass. The four men in today’s account could’ve chosen to view the crowd as ‘the answer’ to whether or not their paralytic friend could be healed. What would have happened if, when they arrived at the house where Jesus was, they saw the crowd and decided that since Jesus was choosing to spend time with all of these other people He wasn’t able to help their friend? This miracle could have easily never taken place. This man might have lived out the rest of his days lying on a mat as a paralyzed beggar. Instead, they chose to focus on the promise, not the obstacle. They didn’t consider the danger of hoisting this man up on to the roof, or the danger of lowering him through a hole that hey dug without permission to be too much to risk. They simply refused to allow conditions and circumstance to keep them from obtaining what the Lord had in store for them. It’s time that God’s children stopped determining God’s will based upon what they see going on around them and allow His Word and character speak louder what they’re facing. His promises are available to everyone but obtaining them isn’t always easy. You must determine from the onset that you will not allow any hinderances and obstacles that life or the enemy may throw at you to keep you taking hold of what the Lord has promised you is yours. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff

Who are you bringing? As you know, TWBC will be going to 3 Sunday morning services (8:30, 10:00, and 11:30) beginning October 6th. We are doing this in an effort to make room for your family, friends and co-workers who need to have an encounter with the Lord. So pray about who you can bring and where you can help. There has never been a better time to get involved than now. So, who are you bringing?
