Psalm 121:1-3
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? 2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.

When the Lord gives you a dream and you make up your mind and heart to be obedient to the Lord so that it will come to pass, your enemy will do everything He can to keep it from taking place. When things start coming against you and and you’ve determined that the resistance you’re facing is not coming from poor choices you may have made, then it’s time to lift up your eyes. The enemy knows the single most effective thing he can do to keep those God given dreams from coming to pass is to get to take your eyes off of the Lord. In this Psalm, David knew that God had promised Him the throne. But at that moment He was fleeing from the current king who wanted him dead. What did David make it a point to do? He said that He was going to look to the Lord and not focus on the circumstances around Him. You have the same opportunity to look to the Father when the enemy seems to be winning and is right on your heels. You must refuse to give your attention to a defeated foe and focus it on the One who defeated him. The Lord will do the fighting but you have to let Him. Your battle takes place within your mind that wants to run, give up, or fight the devil yourself. You must resist the pressure to do anything other than focus on the Lord. Follow the instructions He gives you to the letter and allow Him to bring you through to the victory that awaits you. He has already defeated you adversary and He is imparted that victory to you. You simply have to keep your eyes lifted and focused on Him. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff

TWBC is making room for you! We’re also making room for anyone that you’d like to bring with you. On October 6th, TWBC will begin holding 3 Sunday morning services. That’s right, you now have the option of worshiping with us at 8:30, 10:00, or 11:30. But, we can’t do this without you! Making room for others means that there are more opportunities to serve now than ever before. We have positions on the Connect, Worship, Pre-K, and Kids Teams that need to be filled help us accommodate all of those who will be coming in. So ask the Lord to show you which service you’d should worship in and one in which you’d like to serve in. Join Team TWBC where you’ll… ‘Find Friends, Discover Purpose and Encounter God.’
