Three Northeast Texas Beef Improvement Organization (NETBIO) pre-conditioned cattle sales will be held at the Sulphur Springs Livestock Commission market between now and November 20.

The first of the three upcoming sales will be the September 18 NETBIO pre-conditioned stocker and feeder calf sale. More than 5,000 head of cattle have already been consigned for this sale.

The consignment booksare still open for the October 16 NETBIO sale and the organization’s anniversary sale slated for Nov. 20. Consignment books are still open for both sales. However producers are encouraged to sign up early and pick up your ear tags at the market center office because they are filling up fast.

The organization’s November anniversary sale will mark the beginning of the 21st year for this pre-conditioned cattle producer organization. This sale already has more than 4,000 head of cattle consigned and traditionally fills up before the sale. Therefore, producers are urged to get their name on the list early.

All of the NETBIO sales begin at 1 p.m. and visitors are invited to come early and view the cattle.

The NETBIO auctions are broadcast on the Internet and the Sulphur Springs Livestock Auction will be accepting bids at LMA Auctions.com. Internet buyers should register in advance in order to bid.
