Psalm 1:3
He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

Have you ever seen a tree in a state of panic? Of course not. Think about it. Whether it’s a freezing day in January or it’s a sweltering 105 degree day in August, it just continues to be the tree it was created to be. How can it be so stable irregardless of the season or circumstances going on around it? It’s because the tree is planted where the Lord put it and it responds to those seasons appropriately. If it’s in a dry season, it may not produce like it normally would but it stays rooted and planted knowing that the rain will eventually come. In a cold season, it may not be as pretty and green as it might be in other seasons but it stays planted, knowing that the summer months are on the way. God compares you to a tree for a reason. He doesn’t expect you to swayed or changed by the changing seasons. He expects you to put down roots where He’s placed you be fruitful over the long haul. In spite of the extremes of life that may come and go, He will continually strengthen and sustain you if you’ll seek Him as your source. So understand that no matter the season, you’re placed and planted by God Himself. Makes plans to prosper if you stay planted in Him. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
