The three teams from Hopkins County competing in the Dixie World Series at Coleman Park lost two of their three games yesterday. All three teams are still alive in the tournament, however.

The Hopkins County Debs All-Star team lost 26-0 to South Carolina. They are now 2-1 in the tournament. They play Tennessee tonight at 6 p.m. on Field 5.

The Hopkins County Ponytails All-Star team won 2-1 against Virginia. They are now 2-1 in the tournament. They play South Carolina at 6 p.m. on Field 1 tonight.

The Hopkins County Angels All-Star team lost to Alabama 9-2. They are also now 2-1 in the tournament. They play Lousiana tonight at 8 p.m. on Field 5.
