Two Cedar Hill Women Arrested by SSPD After Officers Discover Almost 9 Pounds of Methamphetamine During Traffic Stop

Sulphur Springs Police Department arrested two Cedar Hill women Wednesday night after discovering almost 9 pounds of methamphetamine in their vehicle during a traffic stop.

Ashli Lanae Allen, 35, and Brittney Jacher Hall, 31, were stopped on I-30 eastbound for a traffic violation. The women admitted to having THC cartridges in the vehicle after officers inquired about the marijuana odor coming from the vehicle. Approximately 8.9 pounds of methamphetamines were also located in a black bag in the rear of the vehicle.

Allen and Hall were arrested and each charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance >400 grams. They are currently held at Hopkins County Jail. Bond has not been set.
