SSPD Investigating Attempted Armed Robbery of Super Handy Convenience Store

A male wearing a ski mask and armed with a handgun attempted to rob the Super Handy convenience store in the 1400 block of College Street Monday night. The suspect reportedly was spooked and left the store without taking anything. Sulphur Springs Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
The subject is described as an African-American male between 5’7″ and 5’10”. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Sulphur Springs Police Department.
