Services for Mary Logan, age 84, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2019 at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Cook officiating. Interment will follow in City Cemetery with David Foster, Brian Logan, Landon Logan, Scott Logan, Michael Bowen, and  Mark Allen Warren serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Watts, Mark Warren and Gary Lewis. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mary Margaret Lancour Logan passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at Christus Mother Francis Hospital Tyler.

Mary was born March 9, 1935 in Gladstone, Michigan to Eugene and Bernice Lancour. She married Byron Morris Logan on October 31, 1953 in Gladstone, Michigan. They moved to Dallas, Texas but soon decided to move to Hopkins County. He preceded her in death on July 15, 2010. She was a long time member of Wesley United Methodist Church and a member of the Monday Emmaus Reunion Group.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Lou (husband Stanley Foster);  two sons, Keith (wife Belinda) and Stanley (wife Amy); eight grandchildren, Susan Bowen (husband Michael), David Foster (wife Olga), Brian Logan (wife Emmy), Landon Logan (wife Summer), Scott Logan, Melissa Bingham (husband Justin), Ben Logan, and Sarah Logan; and seven great-grandchildren, Lexie Logan, Kayson, Jaycee and Hartlan Logan, Ben and Katelyn Foster and Mason Fox. She is also survived by one brother-in-law, Robert Bruce Logan. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Patricia Ross, and two brothers, Eugene “Lefty” and Gerald Lancour.

Memorials can be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 614 Texas Street, Sulphur Springs, TX.
