Leviticus 26:13
I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves. And I have broken the bars of your yoke and made you walk erect.

If you were to ask the average person in America how free they were you would probably get a strange look followed by an answer that reminded you of their citizenship in this great country. The problem with that is that most everyone is in bondage to something but people usually consider bondage to be actual physical ailment or slavery. Because of this lack of insight people will continue being slaves to all manner of mental and spiritual bondages. You can tell by the look in someone’s eyes or their physical posture if they are struggling various issues and conditions that are weighing them down. Like the example in today’s scripture verse, the Israelites were walking out of 400 years of slavery. They were experiencing freedom physically but there mindset didn’t change quite so rapidly. The Lord was having to remind them that all their chains had been broken, not just the the ones that they could see. In what areas of your life do you need to experience true freedom? Where does fear have a grip on you? If fear is present, then a lie is present as well. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any lies that you’ve chosen to believe. Refuse to allow fear to weigh you down any longer. There is no one greater, or who loves you more than your Daddy. Give Him the opportunity to show you how good He really is. Fear has no place in His presence. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff

Simple Saturday is going on this weekend! We are going to be at several different area locations from 11am – 1pm on the July 13th giving away free hotdogs to show those in our community the love of God. No preaching, no evangelizing…just being a practical blessing to those who need to see God’s love in action. If you would like to be a part of this surprisingly simple outreach contact the TWBC office at 903 438 2363.
