Daily Devotional from The Way Bible Church for July 3rd, 2019

When the Lord shows you something amazing, when He makes you a promise that’s bigger than your ability to fully see, how will you respond? The only difference between those who see God do the miraculous and those who don’t is what they choose do with what the Lord tells them. All of the ‘Greats’ that are listed in the Bible are no different than you. They were people with problems, imperfections and struggles who lived their lives a day at a time just as you do. But, just like God did for them by making them a promise for something greater, He is doing for you. You have the choice to hold on like Caleb did in today’s text and ‘wholly’ follow the Lord, or you can allow fear of the unknown to speak louder than His voice. The only thing keeping you from greatness is how ‘wholly’ your willing to follow. It doesn’t matter if you’re 9 or 90, if you’re alive He still has greater things in store for you. If you’re willing to receive what He says with a heart that’s full of faith and trust, He is ready to speak. Your personal ‘Promised Land’ is still in front of you. Simple Saturday is coming July 13th. Simple Saturday is just that…simple. We are gong to show you how simple is to be a blessing to those in our community. We are going to meet from 11am to 1pm at various locations throughout our area and grill hotdogs to give away…and that’s it! You will see how very easy it is put a smile on someone’s face by simply blessing them with something practical. No preaching or trying to force anything on anyone, just a smile, a ‘God Bless You’ and a hotdog. Make plans to be a part of Simple Saturday.
