2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

In the English language, you learn early on that when referring to a person, you use pronouns such as ‘he’, ‘she’, or ‘who’, and if when referring to an object you use the pronouns like ‘it’ or ‘what’. Even though this is very fundamental and elementary in grammar, it can become much more difficult to grasp spiritually. Many believers get caught up labeling themselves and others according to ‘what’ they did or ‘what’ they once were rather than ‘who’ they are now. You are not that sin, habit, or lifestyle that you once lived in, you are a child of the Most High God. You are a somebody in the Kingdom, not the mess you came out of. All of those ‘whats’ and ‘its’ no longer apply to you. Maybe you came out of adultery, but that’s not you anymore. While drugs might have held you captive through addiction, that doesn’t define you now. You are the ‘Who’ He has created you to be, not the ‘what’ that might have plagued you in the past. Maybe it’s time you let the Holy Spirit give you a spiritual grammar lesson when it comes to who He has called you to be. Stop labeling yourself something that you longer are. Start calling yourself who you are in Him. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff

This Saturday, June 8th at 7pm at TWBC is our monthly Upper Room service. This is a time of worship and intimacy spent in the presence of the Holy Spirit. You can expect to receive a fresh infilling and anointing as we seek Him together as the Body of Christ. He never fails to show up and pour His Spirit out on those who come. Make plans to be a part of this opportunity to experience the Lord move in your life.
