2 Corinthians 5:16
From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer.

Have you ever crossed paths with someone who you hadn’t seen in an extended period of time? Perhaps an elementary school friend who had moved away or an old high school or college friend from a while back. Even though you were well aware of the fact that much time had passed, you still knew this person according to who they were previously not by whom they had become while you were apart. Much life had taken place during that time and that person is no longer the same person they were before. By default you think of this person as having not changed at all, even though they may now be married, or re-married, have children, or a different career. Because of this, you’ve already determined how you feel about this person based upon who they were back in the day. It’s easy to recognize them by the label they wore or the box they were in back then and therefore naturally try to put them in that same label or box today. Paul instructed the church in Corinth to not look at people according to who they were in the physical but according to who they are now in the spiritual. Christians especially should learn see people as who the Lord says they are, not what they have been brought out of. Is there anyone in your life that you need to take another look at, this time with the Lord’s eyes? Just as you would appreciate someone looking at you with fresh eyes, make sure you afford that same benefit to others. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff

This Saturday, June 8th at 7pm at TWBC is our monthly Upper Room service. This is a time of worship and intimacy spent in the presence of the Holy Spirit. You can expect to receive a fresh infilling and anointing as we seek Him together as the Body of Christ. He never fails to show up and pour His Spirit out on those who come. Make plans to be a part of this opportunity to experience the Lord move in your life.
