19 Year Old Como Man Killed in Van Zandt County Crash on Thursday

19 year old Nicholas Stone Richardson of Como was killed in a car accident on SH 19 in Van Zandt County on Thursday afternoon. A garbage truck stopped ahead of Richardson’s vehicle and Richardson struck the garbage truck. The garbage truck had slowed down for a school bus that was stopped in the roadway ahead of it.

Richardson was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
