Miller Grove’s Kobe Robertson Wins State Championship in 1600m and MG’s Isaiah Billingsley Finishes Second in 3200m at State Track Meet

Miller Grove Boys Track athletes Isaiah Billingsley and Kobe Robertson both brought home medals from the State Track and Field Meet.

Robertson is the State Champion in the 1600m with a time of 4:30.23 and sixth in the 3200m with a time of 10:05.51, which is his personal best.

Billingsley came in second in the 3200m with a time of 9:49.45 which is also a Miller Grove school record.  He placed fourth in the 1600m with a time of 4:34.50, which is his personal best.

Miller Grove Athletic Director Gary Billingsley said, “We had a great meet. I am proud of our athletes no matter the outcome because I see all the work and dedication that they put in when there is nobody watching.  Each athlete has their own challenges and the most rewarding part for me is to see them reach goals that we have set forth for the season.  The countless hours of running and sacrifice are things that the average person just does not understand.  All four of the athletes will be back next year and we have others working hard as well so our staff is excited to see what the future holds.”
