by

GoBus is partnering with TRAX in the Ark-Tex Council of Governments region to carry passengers between their two regions.  Sometimes it’s closer or more convenient to travel into the next region.  They will be holding public meetings to get input regarding the need for this service. The meeting for Hopkins and Rains Counties will be held at the Sulphur Springs Senior Citizen Center on May 8th at 11 am.

GoBus’ district includes Anderson, Camp, Cherokee, Harrison, Henderson, Marion, Panola, Rains, Rusk, Upshur, Van Zandt, Wood and the non-urbanized areas of Gregg and Smith Counties.

Ark-Tex Council of Governments Rural Transit District (TRAX) provides low-cost transportation for residents of Bowie, Cass, Delta, Franklin, Hopkins, Lamar, Morris, Red River and Titus counties from their homes or other designated pick up points to meet transportation needs.
