Roger Ridner, age 70, of Sulphur Springs, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 7, 2019.A memorial service to celebrate Roger’s life will be held on Friday April 12, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Martin Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Leathers officiating.

Howard Roger Ridner was born on March 12, 1949 in Somerset, KY to Howard and Elva Ridner. He married Kimberly Lee in Jellico, TN on August 4, 1977. Roger and his wife moved to Sulphur Springs in 1979 and became dairy farmers. They owned their own dairy for 33 years before retiring to enjoy their family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Kim; children: Nathan and his wife Amy, Randy and his wife Amanda; grandchildren: Madison Gray and husband Cameron, Sawyer, Mason, Sam, Knox, and Cash Ridner; sisters: Vanna Sears and Ona Sears; brothers: Jack and Jeff Ridner.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Joe, Johnny and Russell Ridner.

Roger was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a wonderful husband, brother, father and grandfather, and will be dearly missed everyday.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Judes Research Hospital or Martin Springs Baptist Church, where he enjoyed taking care of his Lord’s house.
