Genesis 2:7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave nor forsake you.

In society today, we gravitate towards things that take less time, less effort and give immediate results. Even in our spiritual life we tend to seek out ideas or approaches that make following God easier. The truth is there is no spiritual shortcuts. The life of Jesus is a testament of that. Who are we to complain about having little, taking the long way, enduring pain and being at risk of rejection? As we look to the Bible to reference the many miracles that took place we see that God used little to do much. That should inspire each of to use what we have been so graciously given to do the miraculous. I use the word inspire, meaning “to breathe life into” because if we simply use what we have, but acknowledge and allow God to breathe life into it, we are allowing Him to move on our behalf. The same God that gave the breath of life to man in Genesis 2 wants to breathe life into your marriage, into your home and into your workplace. We all have access! All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV)

So, I encourage you to “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV) Move in the Now applying what you Have and what you Know so that God can do the miraculous in and through you!

Many Blessings,

Rachael Johnson
