The Sulphur Springs Wildcats defeated John Tyler 66-50. Sadaidriene Hall led the Wildcats with 20 points. The Wildcats will face Midlothian on Friday at Forney High School.
North Hopkins Boys Basketball defeated Wolfe City 55-41. The Panthers will face Clarksville in the next round.
The Saltillo Lady Lions lost to Slidell in the Regional Quarterfinal 51-30. Coach Giles said, “Slidell is a good team, coached by a good coach in Lance Shelton. They only had 2 losses on the season coming into tonight’s game and they shot the ball well against us, making 9 three-pointers total.” Brittney Peeples led Saltillo with 8 points.
Como-Pickton Eagles basketball lost to Celeste 80-46 in their playoff game Monday night.
